So, Liz here and I'm freaking out just a bit. I signed up to teach kindergarten summer school this summer for my district. Turns out, they didn't have any kinders needing summer school so they placed me in 5th grade MATH! It starts Monday and I'm quite overwhelmed. There is no set curriculum...just do what you think best...umm I've never taught 5th grade so what do I think best? I'll somehow figured it out, they didn't make me teacher of the year for nothing lol.

Kindergarten
Things are changing for us this year at our school. We have recently been informed that our district will be going to 1:1 this year with Ipads. We all are somewhat nervous but I cannot wait to learn how to implement this in my Kindergarten classroom this year. Last year I had one Ipad and the students just loved using it.
Some of my go to apps have included:
Aurasma- The students worked to create stories and then we recorded the stories using this app. You were able to hear the kids read their stories while hovering over the writing page.
ClassDojo- I used this to record positive behavior of my students.
I just recently heard about educreations and I am excited to use this app for lessons.
